Our Vision
At Creative Genesis, a trusted English enrichment centre in Singapore, we guide children to grow into confident communicators and independent thinkers through our small-group classes and personalised coaching. Our programmes build strong foundations in creative writing, speaking, reading, and comprehension—while nurturing a genuine curiosity and love for the English language.
Every class is intentionally kept small so each child is heard, supported, and challenged at the right level. Beyond exam preparation, we help students connect learning to real-world application—developing critical thinking, clear expression, and the confidence to ask meaningful questions, speak up and collaborate effectively. Through engaging experiential learning, we also nurture creativity, empathy and curiosity so children don’t just thrive in school—they grow into confident and thoughtful individuals who thrive in life.

About Our Founder
(and principal teacher)
Christie, Founder of Creative Genesis, brings over a decade of experience in English enrichment in Singapore. She has taught across both primary and secondary levels, with experience at The Learning Lab and Creative Genesis, guiding students through different stages of their academic journey. Over the years, she has journeyed closely with her students—from Kindergarten 2 through Primary school, and for some, all the way to Secondary 4—giving her a deep understanding of how children grow as learners and individuals.
She believes that establishing strong foundations in the English language is only the beginning. Beyond academic excellence, Christie is passionate about nurturing a child’s love for learning, curiosity about the world, and ability to think critically and with empathy. Her approach empowers students to observe deeply, make sense of their experiences; and express their ideas with clarity and confidence—skills that extend beyond the classroom.
At Creative Genesis, Christie has designed a curriculum that connects English learning to real-world experiences. From young journalist workshops led by practitioners to guided learning journeys in parks, libraries and drama productions, children learn to write and communicate through authentic observation and sensory experiences. This experiential approach strengthens creative writing, sharpens comprehension, and develops thoughtful, expressive communicators.
She also equips students with practical strategies to strengthen their critical thinking, answering techniques, and writing fluency—supporting both academic rigor and long-term confidence. For Christie, the most meaningful outcome is seeing her students grow into confident, curious, and compassionate individuals who are ready to engage with an ever- changing world.
Our Core Values

Curiosity
Children have an innate curiosity and precious sense of wonder. We nurture that spark, encouraging the questions that lead to discovery and a genuine love of learning.

Critical Thinking
Moving beyond rote memorization, our students learn to analyze and apply information and evaluate different perspectives with a sharp mind.

Compassion
We nurture character by building an empathetic community where every student learns the value of kindness and respect.

Creativity
We encourage innovative thinking at every step, empowering students to express themselves and tackle challenges creatively.
Our Curriculum
Hear what Parents have to say
"Kaye was at the end of term 2 of Primary 6 when we engaged Christie as she was underperforming at another tuition centre, averaging AL 4-5. The previous tutor also told us it would be hard for her to improve to AL 3 at her current pace. After the switch, Christie worked closely with Kaye on her weak areas and we started to notice subtle progress in her English.
What I greatly appreciate of Christie is her no-nonsense attitude and straightforwardness to both student and parent. Kaye also found her lessons way more useful and intentional than that of the previous tuition centre. To our pleasant surprise, Kaye achieved an AL 2 for her PSLE English, a 2 band improvement in a short period of time! That is no mean feat and we are grateful to Christie for her tutelage. ”
